| A forty-five foot long covered walkway connects the keeper's dwelling to the tower. This passageway allowed the keeper the luxury of accessing the tower without going outdoors. The covered walkway is built on a slant do to the contour of the ledge on which it sets. The yellow pine floor is in excellent shape along with the bead board walls and ceilings. Architectural drawings, historic documents, and photographs will be displayed in the covered walkway in the future. |
